Pretty Boy Sam is a 2 year old registered KMSHA colt. He currently stands 14.1 hh and growing. He was foaled on April 22, 2024. He has had some ground handling but has not been started under saddle. He is initially stand offish and takes a bit to warm up to you. He has sense though and is willing to learn. He leads, ties, loads, stands in the cross ties, and has had a handful of baths. He was dewormed 7-6-26. He had his hooves trimmed on 7-16-26. Sam is a nice prospect that will be whatever you make him. He has a beautiful chocolate coat and a white mane and tail that stands out! He has a nice natural 4-beat gait on a leadline. He comes from a good line of Sewell saddle stock mountain horses. He has a lot of maturing to do, but I expect him to make a fine stout looking animal one day. He is currently in a growing stage. He is lanky and “hip high”, meaning he still has some growing to do to catch up with his body. He is still intact but doesn’t know that he is a stallion. Both testicles are down if one chooses to geld him. This is a nice mountain colt being offered, the thing is from this point on he will only gain value. The more time you spend on him, rather you are experienced and do it yourself or hire professionals to start him for you he will continue gaining value. Sam has potential to be whatever one wants to make him. Papers in hand. He is sound. In my eyes this is a good investment to make a top trail horse in the future.
